How soon can you start?
For smaller integration jobs (Dynamics GP and QuickBooks) we usually will have someone avaliable within a couple of days. Bigger projects are essentially driven by the time it takes to properly scope the project and create the design specs.

What is your hourly rate?
The ad hoc hourly rate is $140 per hour. However, any project that requires more than 8 hours is discounted to $120 per hour. We also keep you at that rate as long as you are a customer in good standing. This lower rate is of course probably less than you are accustomed to paying for custom development. We are able to do this because we have a great record of keeping customers for a long time. As the relationship grows and time passes we become more and more familiar with your environment, which makes us much more efficient.

Do you do any of your development over seas?
At present all of our development is done in the United States. The reason for this is that the complex nature of custom development makes it critical that we communicate effectively. This means we have to be available the same time you are. It also means we have native speaking English programmers. This greatly mitigates the risk of poor project communication that can slow the development and increase the cost.

Will we be able to speak directly to the programmers?
Absolutely. Once the project is underway it drastically increases effieciency removing the middle man. Sales consultants and project managers are vitally important to the development process, but direct communication is essential when the actual logic and coding have begun.
