What is JitBuilt?
JitBuilt is Just In Time ERP. It is a hybrid approach to small and mid-sized business Enterprise Resource Planning. Essentially we take a solid, well established accounting system like Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010, or QuickBooks Pro and build an ERP system from scratch to integrate with the accounting package.

Not Exactly from scratch
The beauty of the approach (and a large part of the efficiency) is that we don't have to build the sales order module, the quote module, an item master or any of the other things that all manufacturing companies need. We've already done this quite a few times, and the modules are ready to go.

The new, custom modules are the things that your business does, specific to your business. One of our customers needed the ability to split jobs into sub-jobs that can last for a year or more. So we were able to take the existing job module and customize it to fit their specific needs. Another customer needed a scheduling module. This module was then used as the basis for another scheduling module that could schedule jobs to each workcenter, and then schedule employee time based on the workcenter.

The bottom line is you get software that from the very beginning is built to fit your needs. As your business expands you add new customized modules Just in Time for you to really gain the efficiency.
