The engineering module allows a manufacturing company to use Microsft Dynamics without buying the entire Dynamics Manufacturing system. The standard Dynamics GP 2010 is used and the Engineering application allows Items to be created with a web interface. The system also allows the user to create complex routings with customized schedules for things like Heat Treat, weld schedules and other operational procedure that are specific to your business. The routings are kept away from Dynamics in your own database and also allow for easy add and carry to new parts, job specific routings and job specific bills of material.
