New Home Builder auto create a purchase order in Quickbooks
Customer needed to streamline the entering of Purchase Orders into Quickbooks. When a new job is created the Bill of Materials is created at the same time. This list could of course get quite large. The old process involved printing out the list and paying a clerk to hand enter all of the items into a purchase order. For each new job the time to enter all of this information would range between an hour or two to four or five hours per project.
Even in the bad economy this builder was processing over two hundred jobs per year.
The Intralink solution
Intralink created a custom application that reads the list of materials from the job and automatically inserts it into a purchase order in Quickbooks.

Environment: Visual Studio .Net 2008, QuickBooks SDK
