Custom order entry and processing system for distributor
This was a ground up development project based on the .NET platform and utilizing a Microsoft SQL database. The customer wished to integrate the system with Quickbooks professional. All orders had to flow through the entire system and then automatically insert in to Quickbooks for invoicing and other GL functions. Customer does about thirty million dollars per year in distribution of a wide range of technology hardware and software.

ERP system for a steel maker
This is a rebuild of a system originally run on an AS/400. From raw materials melt, to processing components in to finished product, and quality control this system is also built on the .net framework.

Chemical lab integration project
Custom designed and built an application to integrate with an off the shelf ERP system (Made to Manage). This system was designed to automate a manual process of color matching for a customer in the ink industry. The automation was to relieve pressure on lab techs. At the time of conception two lab techs worked full time processing 300 changes per day. Two years later the number is over 600 changes, and one lab tech does the work part time. The return on investment was less than 18 months.

Medicare codes tracking system
This is a highly customized application to help doctors at a large Texas hospital communicate with the billing department to effectively track codes used by Medicare for billing information. The application required HIPAA compliance, and had to be easy enough for users who use the application only once or twice per year.

Construction management software
Custom built using the rapid development process. This software allows for project management, document tracking, easy project status updating and threaded discussion with email alerts for a mid-sized construction company. The initial prototype was built for less than $10,000 and total project cost was less than $20,000. The customer had found an off the shelf solution that was close to what they needed, but at a cost of over $4000 per month it was deemed too pricey. Return on investment was less than six months.
